Walrus Apocalypse

People are always asking me to do stories about their favorite animals. I usually tell them that I really only write stories about things I know & I have quite purposely made it my business to NOT know about pets. Despite that, I have one friend who keeps lobbying me to become a dog person. As if one morning, after all these years, I'll suddenly wake up with an epiphany & a stuffy nose from too much dog fur & declare myself to the whole world as a born-again pet person. HA! Some days I am barely a people-animal person, much less an animal-animal person...

But I'm willing to make concessions. So, today, for all you pro-walrus people (or, maybe, more accurately, all you non-horse people), I'm tossing you a bone.. :-)

Hahaha, I love it! I've never been much of a horse person--never really understood what the big deal was.

That might be because I could never afford to ride horses.
